Strand of Oaks is the rock project of American singer-songwriter and producer Timothy Showalter, born on 20 July 1982 in Goshen, Indiana. Showalter achieved professional recognition for a musical style blending rock and folk. His recording career began with the debut studio recording Leave Ruin (2009). His discography includes the studio recordings Pope Killdragon (2010) and Dark Shores (2012), the latter of which was the first recorded with a full band. He achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Heal (2014), which featured the track âShut Inâ (2014).
