Biography
Straffitti (born Olawale Olukolade in Umuahia, Abia State, in 1998) is a multi-talented Nigerian singer, rapper, songwriter, producer and visual artist. He is known for his unique musical style, blending trap, hip-hop and afrobeats/afropop with unbridled creativity. He made a name for himself in 2017 with his debut EP, Vanilla Sky, featuring M.I Abaga, which showcased his experimental trap style. His 2019 album Molotov followed, buoyed by the hit "100Benz" in collaboration with PsychoYP and Blaqbonez. In 2020, Straffitti continued to evolve his style with the EP and album Straff from Nigeria, moving towards more mainstream afropop and collaborating with artists such as Zlatan Ibile, Prettyboy D-O, Ice Prince and Buju. Alongside his music, he is the founder of the creative collective Thirsty Worldwide, where he integrates fashion, design and visual arts into his work. Following his third album Final Warning!!! in 2024, Straffitti released the energetic EP BUR$T the following year, boosted by the viral hit "SCOPATUMANA", a duet with Zilim that reached #6 on the Lyricfind Top 25 in the USA.
