Biography

Odeal is a prominent altÃ© and R&B artist who was born in Germany and is carving out a unique space in the contemporary UK music scene. Blending his Nigerian heritage with western influences, he first garnered attention with his debut 2017 single "Need a Girl," working with producer YKKUB, which showcased his appreciation for the altÃ© movement, marked by its innovative approach to genre and aesthetics and taking its cue from Afroswing and Afrobeats. He followed his debut with subsequent releases such as 2020's 8-track EP, OVMBR: Roses and first full-length Thoughts I Never Said in 2023. 2024 saw the release of silken R&B single "Temptress."
