Odeal is a prominent alté and R&B artist who was born in Germany and is carving out a unique space in the contemporary UK music scene. Blending his Nigerian heritage with western influences, he first garnered attention with his debut 2017 single "Need a Girl," working with producer YKKUB, which showcased his appreciation for the alté movement, marked by its innovative approach to genre and aesthetics and taking its cue from Afroswing and Afrobeats. He followed his debut with subsequent releases such as 2020's 8-track EP, OVMBR: Roses and first full-length Thoughts I Never Said in 2023. 2024 saw the release of silken R&B single "Temptress."
