Steve Dobrogosz, born January 26, 1956, in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, is an American composer, songwriter, and pianist. He studied at Berklee College of Music before moving to Stockholm, Sweden, in 1978 to start his recording career. His debut album Fairytales (1982), with Radka Toneff, was named the best Norwegian album of all time in a 2012 poll. Dobrogosz has composed over 1500 works across jazz, pop, and classical genres. Notable collaborations include albums with Anna Christoffersson, such as It's Always You (2006) and Rivertime (2008), both nominated for the Grammis Award in the jazz album category. His choral composition Mass (1992) has been performed internationally.
