Biography

Rane was a progressive pop jam band formed in Hartford, CT. The five-member group consisted of Alan Veniscofsky and Ryan "Bowman" Bowman on guitar and vocals, Dan Prindle on bass and cello, Bryan Kelly on drums, and Kurt Rinaldi on percussion and marimba. In 1998, the band released their first full-length album At War with the Moon and established Tides Records as their own record company. Other notable albums include Camelopardalis (2000), From the Vine, Volume 1 and Volume 2 (both 2003), and Magnetic North (2005).
