Biography

Starlight Mints, an American indie-pop group from Norman, Oklahoma, formed in the late 1990s and featured Allan Vest on vocals and guitar, Andy Nunez on drums, Marian Love Nunez on keyboards, Ryan Lindsey on keyboards and guitar, and Javier Gonzales on bass. Their debut album The Dream That Stuff Was Made Of was released in August 2000, followed by Built on Squares in May 2003; the band signed with Barsuk Records in December 2005 and issued Drowaton in April 2006, after which the single "Popsickle" appeared in the 2006 film Barnyard. In 2009, they released Change Remains, and their track "Eyes of the Night" served as the theme for the ITV1 drama Demons; the group disbanded after a final show in December 2009.
