Biography

Stardeath and White Dwarfs, an experimental rock band from Norman, Oklahoma, formed in late 2004. The group consists of Dennis Coyne, Casey Joseph, Matt Duckworth, and Ford Chastain. Their initial release was the EP That's Cool in 2005. In 2009, they released their first full-length album, The Birth, on Warner Brothers Records. The band has collaborated extensively with The Flaming Lips, contributing to their remake of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon in 2009. They have also toured with various artists including Deerhoof, British Sea Power, Band of Horses, Starlight Mints, Explosions in the Sky, Tame Impala, and The Flaming Lips. In 2014, they released their third full-length album Wastoid, followed by the EP What Keeps You Up at Night in 2015.
