Biography

Jacek Władysław Łaszczok-Stachursky, known professionally as Stachursky, is a Polish singer. His musical career began in the 1980s as the vocalist of the rock band Eve before launching a solo career in the mid-1990s. Stachursky’s solo debut came with the album Taki Jestem (1994). He achieved commercial success with later albums such as 1996 (1995), Urodziłem Się Aby Grać (1997), and 1999 (1999), followed by 1 (2000). From the mid-2010s onward, he increasingly focused on club and disco polo-influenced music, collaborating with artists such as DJ BBX on singles like “Kieliszki” and “Essa,” both of which achieved platinum status in Poland. He also released later singles including “Szampan I Truskawki” and “Angelina.”
