Elroy Powell, known professionally as Spoonface, was born on August 28, 1973 and grew up in Tottenham, England. His music career began with the release of his first single "All My Love" in September 2003. He achieved international success as part of the group Black Legend, notably covering Barry White's song "You See the Trouble with Me", which reached Number 1 on the UK Singles Chart. Spoonface has collaborated with numerous artists including Deekline, High Contrast, Omar Lye-Fook, Janet Kay, Kelis, Craig David, Daniel Merriweather and the Sugababes. His discography includes the album Living On The Venus Express (2008), and maxi-singles like Wunna Be and Insane (2009). He is also a voice actor in video games, notably winning the One Voice Conference award for Best Male Voice in Gaming for his role in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
