Biography

Solar Fragment, a German power metal band, was formed in Dortmund in 2003. The group initially consisted of Manuel Wiegmann on guitar and Dominic Serwe on bass, who sought to create a new project after the dissolution of their previous band Halb So Wild. They recruited Gunnar Stein as drummer and later Marc Peters on guitar and Robert Leger as vocalist. In November 2004, they recorded their first promotional CD, and released it in 2005, followed by their debut album A Spark of Deity in 2007 under Sleaszy Rider Records, featuring notable tracks such as "Man of Faith" and "Take Me Higher", both of which gained significant popularity, with over 680,000 plays combined by July 2010. In April 2011, Solar Fragment released their second album In Our Hands under Scarlet Records.
