Biography
Snakadaktal, an Australian indie pop/dream pop band, formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 2009. The group consisted of Sean Heathcliff, Phoebe Lou (later known as Phoebe Go), Joseph Clough, Jarrah Mccarty-Smith, and Barna Nemeth. Their breakthrough came in 2011 when they were named the Triple J Unearthed High winners. Following this success, Snakadaktal signed with I Oh You Records and released their debut EP Snakadaktal in 2011. The EP reached number 26 on the digital ARIA Charts, with "Air" becoming a standout track ranked at number 22 in the Triple J Hottest 100 for that year. Their debut album, Sleep In The Water, released on August 2, 2013, featured notable singles such as "Hung On Tight" and "Underneath". On March 16, 2014, Snakadaktal announced their breakup, citing a desire to pursue individual projects.
