Biography
Smile.dk is a Swedish Eurodance ensemble formed in 1998 in Malmö. Established by Veronica Almqvist and Nina Boquist, the group released its debut studio recording, Smile, in 1998. The album included the track "Butterfly", which was licensed for the video game Dance Dance Revolution. Following the departure of Boquist in 2000, Malin Kernby joined the group, which renamed itself Smile.dk. The ensemble released the albums Future Girls (2000) and Golden Sky (2002). After a hiatus starting in 2005, the band resumed activity in 2008 with Hanna Stockzell and released the album Party Around the World. Cecilia Reiskog joined in 2010 and performed on the single "Moshi Moshi" (2011). Reiskog left the group in 2013, and Almqvist continued the project as the sole member. She released the studio recording Forever in 2017. The ensemble appeared on multiple Dancemania compilations.
