Sky Eats Airplane was an American post-hardcore and electronicore band formed in 2005 in the United States. The group was established by Brack Cantrell and Lee Duck while students at Arlington Heights High School. They achieved early recognition through the popularity of their demos on Myspace. Their debut album, Everything Perfect on the Wrong Day (2006), was self-produced and later re-released through Thriving Records in 2007. Following Cantrell's departure, Duck recruited the musicians Zack Ordway, Kenny Schick, Jerry Roush, and Johno Erickson. The band signed with Equal Vision Records and released the self-titled album Sky Eats Airplane (2008), which reached number 172 on the Billboard 200. Their discography includes the EP The Sound of Symmetry (2010). The ensemble became inactive in 2011.
