Biography
Skinlab, an American heavy metal band from San Francisco, California, was formed in 1994 by bassist and vocalist Steev Esquivel and guitarist Mike Roberts. The group initially included guitarist Gary Wendt and drummer Paul Hopkins. Their debut album, Bound, Gagged & Blindfolded (1997), was produced by Andy Sneap. The band toured extensively, performing at the Dynamo Open Air festival in Munich alongside acts like Coal Chamber and Machine Head. Following lineup changes, Skinlab released their EP Eyesore (1998) and subsequent albums including Disembody: The New Flesh (1999), reVoltingRoom (2002), and The Scars Between Us (2009).
