Biography
Sick of Sarah was an American rock band from Minneapolis that formed in 2005. The group was founded by Abisha Uhl, Katie Murphy, Jessie Farmer, and Brooke Svanes. They released their first EP, Los Angeles 2006 in 2006, followed by the EP Bittersweet in 2007, which included the single âBittersweetâ. In 2008, Jamie Holm joined them as a bassist, and they were named best emerging artist at Summerfest. Their debut studio album, Sick of Sarah, was released in 2008. Subsequent recordings include the EP The Best Thing (2009) and the studio album 2205 (2010). The latter recording became notable for its distribution via BitTorrent, where it received over 1.7 million downloads. Their discography also includes the EPs Overexposure (2011) and ANTHEM (2015), which featured the single âRooftopsâ. Jessica Forsythe joined them on drums in 2010. The band became inactive in 2016.
