Shyra Sanchez is an American singer, dancer, producer, fitness entrepreneur, and motivational speaker based in Los Angeles. Raised in Northern California in a multicultural household, she began as a dancer before moving into singing and songwriting. Her early dance-pop career took shape with âDJ Love Song,â which reached number 28 on Billboardâs Dance chart and was featured in John Singletonâs film Abduction, later also appearing in the action film Skin Trade. In 2016, Shyra Sanchez founded STAR Academy, a mentorship program for emerging talent across music, fashion, film, and stage arts, while continuing to connect performance with wellness and creative coaching. In 2019, she appeared on TRAIGâs Pride-themed dance single âUniversal Love,â which was expanded through multiple remix releases, including Universal Love, Vol. 1 and Universal Love, Vol. 2. After further work across music, movement, and brand projects, she returned in 2025 with Fire: Reignited, a reworking of Bruce Springsteenâs âFire.â In 2026, Shyra Sanchez released âOperator,â co-written with Ben Franklin and featured in Joe Carnahanâs film Not Without Hope. The single reached Number 1 on the DRT Global Top 100 Independent Airplay chart and was followed by Operator (The Remixes), featuring versions by Dave Audé, Bimbo Jones, Marc Baigent, and others. Its music video, directed and choreographed by Travis Payne, underlined her dance-driven visual identity. Shyra Sanchez followed that momentum with the 2026 single âDance With Me,â a club-focused track built around release, confidence, and movement.
