Biography

Created by artificial intelligence, Shunned at a Funeral is a Christian rock band from Southern Oregon. Formed in 2023, the fictional all-female trio's members include Madison Connelly (vocals, guitar, piano), Kendra Whitaker (guitar) and Cassandra Ryder (banjo, mandolin). Drawing their lyrics from the Scriptures, the band released their first album Lystra in 2025, followed by numerous others including Ephesus, Joppa, Shiloh and Bethlehem in 2025, then Magdala, Bethesda and Moriah in 2026. The latter reached number 71 in the UK download charts.
