Biography
Shaolin Temple Defenders, a French funk and soul group from Bordeaux, was formed in 2003. The band met and began collaborating with American soul singer Martha High in 2007, releasing the live album W.O.M.A.N. together in 2008. Their third album, Take It Slow, was released in 2010 and included a collaboration with Gift of Gab from Blackalicious on the title track "Take It Slow". In 2013, they released From The Inside. Shaolin Temple Defenders' fifth album, Free Your Soul, was released in 2017.
