Biography

Born in Casablanca and adopted by Toulouse, guitarist Serge Lopez caught the flamenco bug at the age of twenty. His apprenticeship with Bernardo Sandoval was followed by the album Baratillo (1999) and a trio with Jacky Grandjean and Pascal Rollando(El Encuentro, 2005). After accompanying Francis Cabrel on the Des Roses et des Orties album and tour, Serge Lopez organized a family reunion on Au Fil de L'Horizon in 2011.
