Biography

Born on May 11 1994 in the Dutch town of Sliedrecht, Sera de Bruin is known professionally as Sera; a singer and songwriter who grew her profile on social media singing cover songs from her car. She began notching up millions of views for her takes on tracks such as Dua Lipaâs "IDGAF" and Meghan Trainorâs "No." This viral success helped her land a major label deal and she signed with Universal Music, releasing her debut single "Only Us" in 2021 and scoring a top 10 hit in the Netherlands. Released that same year, she went even further with the follow-up "Take a Chance," rocketing to number two in her homeland. She has continued to release singles at a steady pace with "Hand Held High" arriving in 2022, "Best Friend" in 2023, and "Hurt Me" in 2024.
