Maria Minerva is the stage name of Estonian singer, songwriter, and producer Maria Juur, born on 15 March 1988 in Tallinn. She achieved professional recognition for a musical style blending avant-pop, electronica, and experimental genres. Her recording career began with the debut studio recording Tallinn At Dawn (2011), followed by the extended play Noble Savage (2011). She received two Estonian Music Awards. Her recording career includes the studio recordings Cabaret Cixous (2011), Will Happiness Find Me? (2012), and Histrionic (2014). In 2019, she collaborated with the late artist Cherushii on the eponymous extended play Cherushii & Maria Minerva (2019), which featured repurposed tracks from previous Cherushii recordings. Juur appeared as herself in the documentary Silk (2013) and portrayed the singer Marju Kuut in the documentary u.Q. (2021).
