Semi Precious Weapons was an American rock band from New York City, formed in 2006 by Berklee College of Music graduates Justin Tranter, Cole Whittle, Dan Crean, and Aaron Lee Tasjan. In March 2008, the band signed a worldwide recording agreement with Razor & Tie, leading to the re-release of their debut album We Love You (2007). They gained significant attention when Kate Moss attended their concert at London's Death Disco club in January 2008. The band served as the opening act for Lady Gaga's The Monster Ball Tour from 2009 to 2011 and had a cameo in the video for her song "Telephone". Their final album, Aviation, was released in 2014. The band disbanded that same year.
