Secret Shine is a British indie rock band formed in 1991 in Bristol. Originally known as Amelia's Dream, the group signed with Sarah Records and released the debut single âAfter Yearsâ (1991). Their early recordings followed a pop style before moving toward a shoegaze sound with the singles âUnbearableâ (1991) and âEphemeralâ (1992). In 1993, Secret Shine released the debut album Untouched and the single âLoveblindâ. The band's lineup included Scott Purnell, Jamie Gingell, Kathryn Smith, and Tim Morris. Following a hiatus, the group reformed in 2004 and released the acoustic tribute album Morris (2005). Their discography includes the albums All of the Stars (2008), The Beginning and the End (2011), and There Is Only Now (2017).
