Second Coming was an American rock ensemble formed in 1990 in Los Angeles before relocating to Seattle in 1992. The group consisted of core members James Bergstrom and Johnny Bacolas, who appeared on every recording. The ensemble released its debut studio recording, L.O.V.Evil, in 1994. In 1996, Bacolas and Bergstrom reformed the group with vocalist Travis Bracht and guitarist Dudley Taft. This lineup signed with Capitol Records and released the eponymous album Second Coming in 1998, featuring the tracks âSoftâ and âVintage Eyesâ, which both reached number 16 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. The ensemble performed on tours with Godsmack, Kid Rock, and Lenny Kravitz. After parting with Capitol, the band released the Acoustic EP (2002) and the album 13 (2003) on its own label, Timestyle Music. The group became inactive in 2008.
