Biography

Born in Tranqueras, Uruguay in 1994, SebastiÃ¡n Barboza discovered his passion for music by age five, performing with local bands before moving to Montevideo and later returning to his hometown in 2019 to launch a romantic tropical cumbia project under Sentimientos Producciones. His vocals on âNecesito Encontrarteâ (2024) alongside Lucas Sugo marked his breakout, receiving widespread radio play and inclusion in Lucas Sugoâs shows and official videos. He built on that momentum with the album Sessions #1: Un siglo sin ti, Mil preguntas, Ãmame (2024), and his single âÃmameâ became a social media favorite across Uruguay and Argentina. In May 2025, he released the triple Aâside single âDejarÃa Todo / Mi Historia Entre Tus Dedos / Otra Como TÃº,â showcasing his evolving songwriting and romantic lyricism.
