Scott Jeffers Traveler, born Scott Jeffers in the United States, is an American musician known for his work across multiple genres. He started as the lead singer and composer of the progressive rock band Prophecy from 1989 to 1994, releasing Kingdoms in 1992. In 1995, Jeffers released his first solo album, The Other Side. He formed the ethnic fusion rock band Traveler in 2000, debuting with their self-titled album that year. Throughout his career, Jeffers blended traditional ethnic music styles with progressive rock, reggae, and heavy metal. Notable albums included Old World Christmas (2011), Mutiny (2012), Marrakesh (2012), Winds of Ksar Ghilane (2014), Traveler Christmas (2014), Symphonia (2015), Out Of The Dust (2019), and Kings of India (2021). Jeffers performed at various world music festivals and collaborated with musicians such as Ken Mary, David Ellefson, Steve Conley, Qais Essar, Anupam Shobhakar, and PoranguÃ.
