Say Zuzu is an American alternative country band formed in Newmarket, New Hampshire, in 1992 by brothers Jon and James Nolan and Cliff Murphy. The group earned critical acclaim with Highway Signs & Driving Songs (1995) and later found an enthusiastic audience in Italy through the support of music critic Paolo Caru. They continued to build their reputation with albums such as Take These Turns (1997) and Bull (1998). Following the departure of James Nolan in 2001, the band underwent lineup changes and released Every Mile in 2002 before disbanding soon afterward. The group reunited in 2021, signing with Strolling Bones Records and issuing the retrospective compilation Here Again: A Retrospective (1994â2002) in 2022. In 2023, they released No Time to Lose, their first album of new material in over twenty years.
