Biography

A specialist on the Hammond B-3 organ, American Sam Yahel is a musician at the crossroads of jazz, funk and pop. Since 1990, he has collaborated with musicians as diverse as Joshua Redman, Maceo Parker, Bill Frisell, Norah Jones and Madeleine Peyroux, before recording a handful of albums under his own name. His critically and peer-acclaimed leader albums include In The Blink of An Eye (1999), Truth and Beauty (2007) and a tribute to Pink Floyd, Jazz Side of the Moon in 2010.
