Sahara Hotnights is a Swedish rock ensemble from Robertsfors established in 1992. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by rock with influences of garage rock and punk and for their debut studio recording C'mon Let's Pretend (1999). The ensemble consists of the vocalist and guitarist Maria Andersson, the guitarist Jennie Asplund, the bassist Johanna Asplund, and the drummer Josephine Forsman. They achieved professional recognition for a career that began after they won a talent contest and released the debut extended play Suits Anyone Fine (1997) on the label Speech. Their recording career began with the studio recording C'mon Let's Pretend (1999) which reached number 15 in Sweden.
