The Sabri Brothers, a Pakistani musical band known for their Sufi qawwali music, were formed in 1956 by Maqbool Ahmed Sabri and later joined by his elder brother Ghulam Farid Sabri. The duo, hailing from Kalyana, East Punjab, began their musical journey under the guidance of their father Inayat Hussain Sabri. Their first public performance was at an Urs festival in 1946, and they officially started performing as a group in 1958 with the release of "Mera Koi Nahi Hai Tera Siwa" under EMI Pakistan. The Sabri Brothers gained prominence during the 1970s. In 1975, they became the first Qawwali artists to perform in the United States and at New York's Carnegie Hall. The band released several albums, including A Tribute To Amir Khusro Sabri Brothers (1975) and Ya Mohammad Nigah-E-Karam Kijeye (1986). Ghulam Farid Sabri passed away in 1994, followed by Maqbool Ahmed Sabri in 2011.
