Ruff Driverz, a British electronic music duo consisting of Brad Carter and Chris Brown, emerged in the late 1990s. The group initially gained traction with their debut single "Don't Stop" in November 1997, which received critical acclaim from outlets like Record Mirror Dance Update. Ruff Driverz's breakthrough came with the release of "Dreaming", a flamenco-inspired track featuring Katherine "Arrola" Ellis, which peaked at number 10 on the UK Singles Chart and reached number 20 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in 1998. The duo continued to achieve success with singles such as "La Musica" and "Waiting for the Sun". Their only studio album, In-Fidelity, was released in 1999. The duo remained active until 2019, when they reunited with Ellis for a special performance. Carter continued his career as a solo producer and remixer, while Brown focused on organizing and promoting events in the UK and Europe.
