Hubert Prior Vallée, known professionally as Rudy Vallée, was born on July 28, 1901, in Island Pond, Vermont. He began his musical journey studying saxophone and clarinet before attending Yale University, where he performed with fellow students. Vallée's breakthrough came when he started singing with a megaphone, leading to his first radio appearances on WABC in 1928. He released several albums throughout his career, including Songs of a Vagabond Lover (1954), The Young Rudy Vallée (1962), and Hi Ho Everybody (1966). Vallée also had a notable film career, appearing in movies like Madame et ses flirts (1942) and Infidèlement vôtre (1948), as well as the television series Batman. He passed away on July 3, 1986.
