Rosie Valland, born in Granby, Quebec, Canada, is a singer-songwriter known for her work in French chanson and mainstream pop. She studied music at the Ãcole internationale de la chanson de Granby before releasing her self-titled EP in 2014. Her full-length debut album, Partir avant, was released on September 18th, 2015. Valland gained significant recognition with nominations for the SOCAN Songwriting Prize in 2016 for "Olympe" and in 2017 for "Nord-Est." Following her debut album, she released the EPs Nord-Est (2016) and Synchro (2017), and her second full-length album, Blue, in 2020. Her most recent release is the album Emmanuelle (2022).
