Biography

Michel Barouille, born on September 30, 1939, in Floirac, Gironde, is a French singer primarily known for his interpretations of French television show theme songs. Despite his parents' initial refusal to let him join the Petits chanteurs à la croix de bois as a child, Barouille pursued musical studies at Bordeaux and Paris conservatories, earning 13 prizes. His career began with notable contributions to various TV series themes, including performing "C'est ça le club" for the show Les Visiteurs du mercredi in 1977. He also performed theme songs for popular series such as Albator 78 in 1979, Goldorak in 1980, and Bioman in 1985. In 1980, Barouille released the album Les Schtroumpfs olympiques.
