Biography

Rockfour is an Israeli psychedelic rock band from Holon formed in 1988. The ensemble achieved professional recognition with the Hebrew single “Haka'as” (1991) and the studio recording Ha'ish Shera'a Hakol (1995), the latter of which received a gold certification for sales exceeding 20,000 copies. In 2000, they released their first English-language studio album, Supermarket (2000), followed by the studio recording One Fantastic Day (2001). Their recording career includes the studio recording Memories of the Never Happened (2007) and a cover of the Pink Floyd track “Arnold Layne” (2006), which won a recording session at Abbey Road Studios. Following the departure of lead vocalist Eli LuLai in 2004, the group resumed activity with Baruch Ben Yitzhak as lead singer and added keyboardist Yaki Gani before LuLai returned in 2014. Their discography includes the studio recordings Too Many Organs (2013) and Erez Ir (2020).
