Roberto Pérez Flores, known professionally as Roberto Jordán, was born on February 20, 1943, in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. At 17, he moved to Mexico City to pursue business administration at ITAM and a music career with RCA Victor. He began his career as a singer in the mid-1960s, initially gaining recognition through radio performances and local events. His breakthrough came in 1968 with the release of "Amor de Estudiante", which became a national hit. Jordán's subsequent albums included 1,2,3 ¡detente! (1968), Castillos de Algodón (1970), and Roberto Jordán (1971). Notable songs include "Hazme una señal" and "El juego de Simón". He also collaborated with Juan Gabriel on "No se ha dado cuenta" in 1971. Throughout his career, Jordán appeared in 21 films and numerous television programs, including Siempre en Domingo.
