In the early 1970s, Cacciapaglia worked as a session musician and joined Franco Battiato's group. His debut album Sonanze, released in 1975, featured orchestral, choral, and electronic elements. Throughout his career, he has explored spiritual themes, often incorporating sacred texts into his compositions. Notable albums include Sei Note in Logica (1979) and Diapason (2019). His work has been performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and he achieved chart success with his 2015 "Tree of Life Suite" reaching Number 1 on the iTunes Classical Music Charts. Cacciapaglia's music has also been featured in various advertisements and operas.
