Biography

Formed in 2024 by Sorry band member Marco Pini (vocals, programming, guitar), RIP Magic is a London-based band completed by Felix Bayley-Higgins (synthesizers), Beth Boswell-Knight (keyboards) and Pedro Takahashi (bass). The band was formed after Tyler, the Creator spotted one of their demos during a DJ set at the Standard. After opening for a number of bands including Fcukers and LCD Soundsystem, RIP Magic released the single "Loot / Dox" in 2025 , followed in 2026 by "5words", James Murphy's first external production in ten years. The double single reached No. 29 in physical sales in the UK.
