Richard Samuel "Rick" Recht, born on August 28, 1970, in St. Louis, Missouri, is an American rock musician associated with contemporary Jewish rock music. In the late 1990s, he worked as a song leader at a Jewish day camp, and by the early 2000s, he toured nationwide with his band, performing approximately 150 shows annually. His discography includes eight studio albums, two children's albums, and four live albums. Notable releases include "The Hope" (2005), "Summer of Our Lives" (2013), and "Here For You" (2018). In 2010, he founded Jewish Rock Radio, one of the first exclusively Jewish rock online radio stations in the United States. He also founded Songleader Boot Camp and has served as its executive director.
