Biography

Richard Wayne Mullins was born on October 21, 1955 in Richmond, Indiana. He began playing piano at a young age and his breakthrough came when Amy Grant recorded his song "Sing Your Praise to the Lord" in 1982. Notable albums include Stuff Of Earth (1988), The World As Best As I Remember It, Vol. 1 (1991), and Brother's Keeper (1995). His songs "Awesome God" and "Sometimes by Step" became widely recognized. Mullins died on September 19, 1997.
