Renard Barakissa is an emerging rapper on the Ivory Coast rap and coupé-décalé scene. A member of Team 2 Poy alongside Kadirov Mania, he alternates between solo tracks and collaborations with the latter. His career took a major turn in 2023 with his participation in the hit track "Coup du marteau", produced by beatmaker Tam Sir, which brought together several young artists such as Team Paiya, Ste Milano, Tazeboy and PSK. This track, celebrating Côte d'Ivoire's hosting of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, became the unofficial anthem of the competition and was certified platinum single in France, marking a major turning point in his career. In 2023, he released the collaborative EP Force de frappe with Kadirov Mania, followed in 2024 by the album Confirmation, again with his Team 2 sidekick Poy. That same year, he unveiled the single "Dos de chat" (solo), one of his most listened-to tracks. In 2025, he continued his work as a duo with Kadirov Mania, releasing the singles "Cassez le Wé" and "La chemise de Kalo maman", reinforcing his imprint on the Ivorian music scene.
