Biography
Tom Calvert, known as Redinho, is an English musician, DJ, and producer born on June 20, 1981, in London. In 2010, he began his career under the alias Redinho with UK dance record label Numbers, releasing his beat tape Bare Blips. He gained recognition for his live performances featuring the talkbox and synthesizer, as well as his single "Stay Together", released in 2011. Calvert toured extensively and performed at major festivals such as SXSW, Primavera, and Sónar. His debut album Redinho was released on Numbers in 2014. In 2015 and 2016, he joined Hudson Mohawke's live band for the Lantern album campaign. Notable singles include "Mmm Mmm" (2018) and "Snake Skin Boots" featuring Blimes (2019), both of which were named Annie Mac's "Hottest Record In The World" on BBC Radio 1. Calvertâs second notable album as Redinho, Finally We're Alone, was released in 2021.
