Red Flag 77, an English punk rock group from Ipswich, England, was formed in 1990. The band's early career began with the release of their first album, Punk not Dread, after playing just three gigs. Following this initial breakthrough, Red Flag 77 released several 7" singles and three full-length albums, such as A Short Cut to a Better World (1998), Stop the World (2004), and Rotten on the Inside (2009). The band's music was heavily influenced by 1970s punk bands such as Sex Pistols, Ramones, The Clash, and The Rezillos.
