Biography

Quit is an American pop punk band from Miami, Florida. The group was formed in 1988 by Andre Serafini, Russell Mofsky, Antonio Rocha, and Addison Burns. Quit's first performance took place on Labor Day weekend of the same year. In 1990, they released their debut album Earlier Thoughts, produced by Ralph Cavallaro and executive-produced by Rat Bastard (Frank Falestra). The band played shows with notable acts such as Green Day, Helmet, and Fugazi. Quit's music was featured on various compilations and a DVD compilation. Despite facing setbacks like Hurricane Andrew destroying their rehearsal space in 1992 and Burns' injury the following year, the band continued to perform until 1996. They reunited for tours in 1999, 2002, and multiple shows in Florida in 2015.
