Quatuor Van Kuijk, a French string quartet founded in 2012, consists of Nicolas Van Kuijk on first violin, Sylvain Favre-Bulle on second violin, Emmanuel François on viola, and Anthony Kondo on cello. The ensemble gained early recognition by winning the 1st Prize at the International Competition of Trondheim in 2013. In 2015, they became the first French quartet to win the 1st Prize at the Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition in London, also receiving special prizes for Haydn and Beethoven. The group was part of the BBC New Generation Artist program from 2015 to 2017 and the ECHO Rising Star program for the 2017-2018 season. Quatuor Van Kuijk has performed on major stages across America, Asia, and Europe, including the Philharmonie de Berlin, Tonhalle Zürich, and Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Their discography includes Mozart (2016), which received accolades such as "Choc de Classica" and "Diapason découverte."
