Pyncher was formed in Greater Manchester in 2020, emerging as an English alternative rock band that blended gritty riffs with introspective lyricism. The group released its first single, "Get Along", in February 2025, garnering attention on independent charts and setting the stage for a rapid rise. In April that year, "Space Rocket Simulator" followed, and the band continued to build momentum with "At the Seaside" in June and "Steely Dan" in September. Their debut studio album, Every Town Needs a Stranger, arrived in October 2025, solidifying their presence in the UK music scene, while the sophomore release, the EP I Really Mean It This Time, dropped in June 2026, featuring singles "One Day" and "Oh Boy."
