Biography

Puuluup is an Estonian musical group formed in 2014, consisting of Ramo Teder and Marko Veisson. The duo gained initial recognition for their nu-folk sound, blending traditional Estonian instruments like the hiiu kannel and talharpa with modern looping techniques. Their debut album, Süüta mu lumi, was released in 2018 under the label Õunaviks, followed by their second album, Viimane suusataja, in 2021. Puuluup achieved a significant milestone when they won Eesti Laul 2024, the Estonian national selection for Eurovision Song Contest and performed alongside 5miinust with the song "(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi".
