Pupil Slicer, a British mathcore band from London, formed in 2016 when singer/guitarist Kate Davies connected with drummer Josh Andrews through an online forum. The duo later welcomed bassist Luke Fabian for a gig, and the trio began their musical journey together. Pupil Slicer released their debut EP Pupil Slicer in 2017, followed by several singles including "L'Appel du Vide" (2020) and "Wounds Upon My Skin" (2021). In 2021, the band signed with Prosthetic Records and released their first full-length album Mirrors. Pupil Slicer supported tours with Rolo Tomassi and Heriot in 2022. Their second album, Blossom (2023), was produced by Lewis Johns. The band performed at Download Festival in 2023 but announced Luke Fabian's departure later that year. In early 2025, Pupil Slicer released two new singles, "Heather" and "Black Scrawl", with new bassist and backing vocalist Luke Booth. Their third album Fleshwork was released in November 2025.
