Chinese singer-songwriter Pu Shu earned his stripes as a musician at the turn of the millennium with a duo of albums, Iâm Marching Towards the Year 2000 (1999) â which featured hit singles âThe Birch Forestâ and âJourneyâ â and Live Like The Summer Flower (2003), which featured the popular single âColorful Daysâ. 2004 was a fruitful year for Shu, who won six gongs at the annual Pepsi Music Chart Awards, held in Shenzhen. Following the release of Shuâs second album, he retired from the spotlight but returned 11 years later in 2014 with âThe Ordinary Roadâ, created for director Han Han's directorial debut â road-trip movie The Continent. The C-pop star released follow-up single "Baby, Dania" in November 2016.
