Biography
Primordial Undermind, an American experimental/psychedelic rock band, was formed in 1988 when guitarist Eric Arn moved from Connecticut to California. The band's early recordings included demos with Nick Saloman of the Bevis Frond and the release "Swimming the Ultramoon" on the compilation If I Could Hear You I Would Hit You. Primordial Undermind released their albums, Yet More Wonders of the Invisible World in 1995 and You and Me and the Continuum in 1997. Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, the band relocated frequently, performing at various festivals and recording albums such as Beings of Game P-U (2001) and Thin Shells of Revolution (2003). In 2005, they settled in Vienna, Austria. The band continued touring extensively across the US and Europe, releasing Last Worldly Bond in 2011 and several live albums. Their studio album, An Imaginal Abydos, was released in 2022.
